Dry eye disease (DED), also referred to as ocular surface disease (OSD), is a chronic, progressive condition that is very complex. Ocular surface diseases are those that affect the eye's surface, which is the most exposed layer of the eye. Long hours on screens/TV / laptop/ mobiles have increased the incidence of digital eye strain(DES) / dry eyes .Early detection and treatment makes dry eye disease easier to manage, which helps to slow the disease's progression.
